Meanwhile, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger announced on Feb. 26, that they had one (1) $25,000 Mega Millions winner, and five (5) $5,000 winners in the last Mega Millions drawing. The lucky $25,000 New Jersey Mega Millions winner purchased their lucky ticket in Essex County at 7-Eleven #11438 (N). 576 Bloomfield Ave., in West Caldwell. The $25,000 lottery winner matched four out of five white Mega Millions winning numbers (12, 18, 25, 35, 66), AND the gold Mega Ball number (15) for the Tuesday, Feb. 25 drawing. Normally this size prize would pay $5,000, however, the lottery winner also purchased a Megaplier ticket for an extra dollar which multiplied the prize winnings to $25,000.

The remaining five (5) third-tier $5,000 Mega Millions lottery winners purchased their tickets in Burlington County, Essex County, Mercer County, Middlesex County, and Passaic County, New Jersey.

Carol Hedinger commented,

"Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets. For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight."

What Time is the Mega Millions Drawing?

The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Feb. 28, 2014, at 11 p.m. EST. Friday's estimated jackpot is $216 million annuity, or $119 million cash-value before taxes. Mega Millions winning numbers are drawn Tuesday and Friday evenings at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets are sold in 42 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each, and another $1 for the Megaplier option which could instantly multiply your prize winnings.
