Mega Millions had two winning tickets for Tuesday night’s drawing. Therefore, the $400 million jackpot will be split between two winners who bought the winning tickets in Florida and Maryland, according to a CBS News report on Wednesday.

The winning numbers were 11, 19, 24, 33, 51 – and the Mega Ball was 7.

Besides the two jackpot winners, the drawing for March 18 had eight “Match 5” winners who will receive $1 million each.

The winning ticket in Florida was purchased at a Sunoco convenience store in Merritt Island, according to Florida lottery officials. Thus far, Maryland has not released information as to where that state’s winning ticket was purchased.

The Mega Millions lottery game which can be played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Island changed the rules last October to assist in increasing jackpots via lowered olds of winning the top prize. Many winnings have had tremendously large payouts in the past five months as a result.

The next drawing on Friday, March 21, 2014, will have an estimated jackpot worth $15 million. Drawings are every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m. CT.
