Mega Millions lottery jackpot at $115 million for Nov. 8

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot for Nov. 8 stands at $115 million, according to lottery officials.

The estimated post-tax value of the lottery jackpot is estimated at $63.1 million.

Drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday after the draw entry closes at 7:45 p.m. PT.

"Jackpot prizes are paid in 30 annual payments," according to the California Lottery Commission. "However, after you win the jackpot and your prize is validated by the Lottery, you will have 60 days to choose the cash value of the prize instead of 26 annual payments."

The overall odds of winning any prize in Mega Millions is about one in 15 and the odds of winning the jackpot is about 1 in 259 million, according to lottery officials.

Tickets are $1 each.

St. #E; Happy Food Mart & Liquors, 1471 B St. #C; Klair’s, 711 Main St.; Great America Gas & Food, 1312 Court St.; Livingston Grocery, 1405 Davis St.; Quik Stop, 401 Joseph Gallo Drive; Chevron, 381 Joseph Gallo Drive; and Bassi Brothers, 690 Hammatt Ave.
