Thursday, Meg Ryan's lifestyle hit the news as UPI.com reported that Meg Ryan prefers the depth of New York for raising her family. People magazine interviewed Ryan for the October 4th issue, hitting the NYC newsstands later today. Delia Ephron a friend of Ryan explained the decision with her comment: "Los Angeles is just about movies. New York is about so much more than that, and so is Meg,"
According to the Huffington Post, Ryan now 51 has not appeared in a movie since 2009. Busy with her eight-year-old daughter and her significant other, John Mellencamp - the quieter lifestyle seems to agree with Ryan.
People magazine has pointed out the Meg Ryan tries to keep low key and avoid publicity, even though she does spend time in the city and at Martha Vineyards vacationing. Raising kids in Hollywood is tough and it is assumed that is the major reason for Ryan to be camera-shy these past few years. The video above mentions that Meg Ryan is aging, well she is aging but still "adorable" and we think Ryan looks awesome.
Fans would love to see another Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks romantic comedy, although there is no word of Ryan accepting any new scripts. Let's hope her quieter lifestyle, does not bury her career totally. We join the fans clamoring for a new movie. We would love to see a mother-daughter film, but it does not look as if we will get our way.
