The hit sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” had not even aired its final episode before talks had already started concerning a spin off. Not surprisingly, this led to widespread speculation concerning who would be cast for the roles in the highly anticipated series. Fans of the series were treated to a tantalizing tidbit of information recently. A Wednesday story by Time reveals that producers for the spin off, “How I Met Your Dad” have tapped Meg Ryan to narrate the series.
The story claims that Ryan’s role in the series will largely mimic that of Bob Saget’s. While it is unlikely that she will ever actually appear in the series, she will narrate every episode of the series. Interestingly, this is not the first time in recent years that Meg Ryan will have appeared on television. A Wednesday story by On The Red Carpet observes that Ryan has appeared in episodes for “Webtherapy” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm”
