It doesn’t matter how old you are or how many times you went through the same routine, meeting a computer pal for the first time is always exciting and nerve racking.
It helps if you do it in familiar surroundings; it’s like having home turf advantage. Also good is to meet in a very public place and to have your own transportation. I’m assuming you know what the pal looks like in more real details than a photo shopped pic on the Internet. Ask what s/he will be wearing, heights, weights, general appearance. Even after all that you can get confused, I know, it happened to me not too long ago.
Here are 3 malls through out the valley with very convenient food courts and plenty of parking.
The Paradise Valley Mall to North East, MetroCenter to the North West and Arizona Mills to the South east. These malls have food courts AND…movie theaters. Maybe after a cup of coffee you feel confident enough to catch a movie or get a treat and catch up on each other’s favorite subject, life outside the Internet. If it didn’t work out, you can get into your car, drive home safely and start surfing the net for a new pal.
