Meeting for weather enthusiasts and meteorologists Saturday morning (Photos)

The Southwest Michigan Chapter of the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association will hold its next meeting Saturday morning March 2. The meeting will be held from 7:30-10:00AM at the National Weather Service office located at:

4899 South Complex Dr SE
Grand Rapids, MI 49512

Cort Scholten will be our guest speaker for the meeting. Cort is currently finishing up his graduate studies at Plymouth State University and has been at a couple of our meetings in the past. He will be talking about dual-pol products and applications with the Weather radar, about their behavior in FL convection, and talk about his experience, and the role of the 45th Weather Squadron in "exploiting the weather to assure safe access to air and space". The meeting is free of charge to attend, and is open to the public.
