Valentine’s Day is all about romance….but it can be a little tricky for those not in a relationship.
How to avoid the desperate last minute blind date or worse, an awkward group dinner with miscellaneous singletons?
Dominique’s Kitchen offers a palatable alternative to those frantic last ditch efforts with a pre-Valentine’s Day Meet Your Match buffet on Thursday, February 7 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Dominique and Liza Theval, owners of Dominique’s Kitchen, met and fell in love in a restaurant. They want to help the same happen for South Bay singles.
Chef Dominique will prepare a buffet dinner that will set the mood, while charming Liza will be hostess to guests, playing cupid and leading activities to encourage mingling.
Admission is $35 (plus registration fee) and includes:
-Fondue, caesar salad, charcutery, cheese platter, sole filet, braised short ribs and panna cotta with red berries compote all served buffet style
-1 drink (beer or wine) and $5 for additional drinks
-An opportunity to meet your match in a fun, low-pressure environment
-Raffle with prizes including dinner for two at Dominique’s Kitchen
The event is open to the public, but is especially geared toward professional singles in their 30s and 40s.
There are a limited number of tickets available and the event is expected to sell out.
