Guardians of the Galaxy is almost upon us. The latest film from Marvel Studios will be hitting theaters in August as it takes moviegoers to the stars with the unlikely heroes known as the Guardians. There has been a lot on the sci-fi film to get people pump for August, like trailers and surprising announcements. However, out of everything that has been featured on Guardians of the Galaxy. there has been something missing. This may be hard to imagine with , but the fact is there has been a character who has been left out of the film's advertisement. This character is Yondu; played by Walking Dead's Michael Rooker. Yondu is the leader of the Ravenger and is a skilled bandit. In the movie, Yondu raises the young Peter Quill who becomes the leader of the Guardians: Star-Lord. So far, there has been nothing on this character; that is until today.

Along with some new posters, Marvel Studios has revealed a teaser image to Yondu. The pictures features the bandit in the shadows and only giving viewers a silhouette to see. Seeing that image is teasing Yondu, perhaps Marvel Studios has plans to reveal this character in the near future. Maybe we will get a special clip on Yondu; or perhaps a featurette. Then again, maybe seeing Michael Rooker as Yondu will not be revealed until the film hits theaters. Whatever happens, Marvel Studio no doubt has something planned for the blue skinned bandit. We will have to see if more is to come on the leader of the Ravengers.

The sci-fi film centers on a band of outlaws becoming an intergalactic peacekeeping force. Led by Peter Quill, the appointed "Guardians of the Galaxy" must evade Ronan the Accuser and prevent a mysterious orb from falling into the wrong hands. The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Lee Pace, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio Del Toro, Michael Rooker, Gregg Henry, John C.Reilly and Glenn Close.
