Meet the bands of Rock on the Range's Jagermeister Stage

Over the years, the outside stages at Rock on the Range have introduced me to a ton of bands that maybe I wouldn't have been exposed to. Up and coming bands that still go out and work to win the crowds over are always a joy to see. This page will introduce you to the festival's third stage bands for this year so that you can familiarize yourself with who they are and who you want to check out.

Jagermeister Stage

Friday May 16

Kill Devil Hill

Who are they? Metal band from North Carolina, featuring former Black Sabbath drummer Vinnie Appice and former Pantera bassist Rex Brown.

Who are they? Electronic hard rock band from Daytona Beach, Florida

Who are they? Hard rock band from Ontario, Canada

Who are they? Progressive metal/alternative metal band from Melbourne, Australia

Jim Breuer Band

Who are they? Metal band featuring Half Baked comedian Jim Breuer

Kvelertak

When: 4:20 p.m.

Who are they? Hard rock/metal band from Norway

Have I seen them? No.

Gojira

When: 5:40 p.m.

Who are they? Progressive metal band from France

Have I seen them: Yes, they opened for Metallica in Cleveland, 2009.

There you have it folks, the bands of this years Jagermeister Stage. The only one I've seen prior to this is Gojira, who opened the Cleveland show for Metallica that also featured Lamb of God. As always, there will be plenty of variety to choose from on the third stage. I personally would recommend Kill Devil Hill, Monster Truck, Exodus, Crobot, and Kvelertak as the can't miss bands for the weekend on this stage! Horns up, Ohio!
