Romeo is a male Terrier mix. He came in as a stray and it is believed he had a caring owner at one time, since he is already neutered and looks like he has been living a good life in a home of his own up until now.
Romeo is friendly, definitely handsome, and is ready for adoption. He should, however, be the only dog in the home. Don’t let that sway your opinion: watch his video below to see how sweet and loveable this cuddlebug is! He wasn’t named “Romeo” for nothing!

Scrooge is another dog that came to the shelter as a stray. He is a big sweet Rottweiler who was in pretty bad shape when he first arrived. It was a bad year for fleas, and his skin was dry and itchy from scratching for so long. Scrooge is just a loyal guy who is patiently waiting for his forever home.

If you would like to adopt Romeo, Scrooge, or any of these other great dogs, like pretty German Shepherd Peppercorn, sweet Pit Bull Terrier Mork and his darling pal Mindy, or Chief, who has been at the shelter for far too long so needs out now, please contact the Richland County Dog Shelter.
You do not have to be local to adopt any of the dogs at the shelter; however you will need to submit an application. Please email the Richland County Dog Warden at richlandcountydogs@yahoo.com to request an application, or visit the shelter.
