All are welcome at the Families with Special Needs Resource Fair to be held this Saturday, October 22 at the Burbank Preschool Center in Oakland. Sponsored by The Burbank Preschool Center and Facing Autism in our Schools Today (F.A.S.T.), this event offers parents the chance to speak with service providers and staff from a variety of agencies.

- Cost: free!
Along with lots of resources and information, the fair will offer complimentary healthy snacks and a supervised bouncy house and play room for kids. And, parents can sign up for either of these free workshops:
- Communication is a Two Way Street: Language Facilitation Strategies for Parents of Children ages 0-5 Sponsored by Communications Works
- Positive Behavior Strategies to make your home life happier - Sponsored by STE Consultants
***Childcare is available during workshops, and space is limited to the first 20 people who sign up. To reserve a space, email resourcefair.burbank@gmail.com and indicate which workshop you are interested in and whether or not you will need childcare. About 20 vendors, including Family Resource Network, the Autism Health Insurance Project, DREDF, and the Center for Accessible Technology will take part in the fair.
