What is Crohn’s & Colitis Team Challenge?

Team Challenge is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s half marathon training program that raises critical dollars for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis research, while it trains you to cross the finish line at a half marathon. You’ll train over approximately 15 weeks for the RNR Vegas half-marathon.  You'll also be given fundraising advice and assistance, and then travel as a team to an exciting location for race weekend.

This will provide an amazing opportunity to not only receive coaching advice and assistance, a trip to Vegas, and a fun socializing opportunity, but it is also an opportunity to assist in a cause affecting millions of American lives.  Did we mention that Bret Michaels will be performing at the FInish Line of the race?

This year, Team Houston will begin training for the Rock 'N Roll Vegas Half-Marathon at the very end of August. The training program consists of 15-weeks of running/walking training with run and walk coaches, Stephen Moore and Kelly Ramey, and it also includes shoe/clothing/equipment clinics, nutrition and strengthening clinics, as well as fundraising meetings aimed towards helping you, the participant, reach your fundraising goal.

Attend an Information Meeting to learn more and meet other exercise-minded & philanthropic individuals!
