Perhaps the blonde jokes should be put to rest. The ongoing myth is that blondes aren’t the smartest women out there, but a recent report screams otherwise.
Lauren Marbe from Essex just went above and beyond in proving the stereotype to be completely inaccurate. Not only is she smart….but her IQ even exceeds that of Albert Einstein and Bill Gates.
In an article dated, Tuesday, Feb. 16, Daily Mail reported that Marbe left her teachers astonished after she scored a 161 on the Mensa brain test, after she was entered with other pupils in school.
The pretty teenager with the brilliant brain appears to be just a typical girl on the surface. She enjoys fake tanning, blonde highlights, manicures and attending TOWIE parties with her friend.
However, Marbe is far from ordinary, and now the world knows it. The young blonde has been enrolled in the top-notch high-IQ society Mensa. For those of us that do not possess an IQ of 161, that means that she has been confirmed as the 1% of cleverest people in the world.
The Loughton, Essex teen told SWNS.com, “My teachers knew I was quite clever because of my grades but they had always thought I was blonde and a bit ditzy. Now they keep saying ‘I didn’t realize you were that clever.’
She also went on to reveal to SWNS.com that she dreams of being a professional singer and dancer, but is torn because of her academic ability.
Her proud parents have stated that they will be happy with whichever career path their daughter chooses.
In UK, the average score of an IQ test is around 100.
Ironically, Essex is known for some negative press, as their girls are often rumored to be 'stupid.' Congratulations to Lauren Marbe for being quite the myth buster.
