Katherine is a beautiful Labrador retriever mix who was discovered as a stray in Dundas, Va.
Those who have met this lovely dog have described her as "very friendly."
Sadly, nobody can keep Katherine , who was taken to an animal control facility, and she will be put down on Friday unless an adopter, or rescue organization, comes forward to offer her a home.
An advocate who is trying to save Katherine from an untimely end shares:
Katherine is a stray who took up residence at a family's home. I'm told she gets along well with people, dogs and cats. The family could not keep her and took her somewhere else.
If she does not have a place to go by Friday, February 1, 2013, she will be put to sleep as no one seems to be able to keep her.
Somewhere along the line, Katherine was failed.
Someone, at some point, wanted her and changed their mind for one reason or another. Today, thanks to those failures, Katherine may lose her life before the week has ended.
Please take a moment to share Katherine's information. Networking saves lives.
