Happy has had an emotional story, but a story like so many other bully breed dogs.
Left at Oregon Humane Society by two men as a stray, Happy was transferred to a local kill shelter. He had become a shelter favorite at OHS with his big grin and winning disposition.
Happy failed his dog on dog test at the kill shelter and was put on the euthanasia list. OHS could not let Happy die, so they redeemed him and brought him back to Oregon Humane Society.
“Happy knows how to sit, lie down and come when called. He's bright and learns quickly with the reward of some ball time.
Happy is a striking, handsome boy - you have to meet him in person to see his unique coloring and gentlemanly qualities.”
After weeks of networking, no one has stepped up to save Happy. OHS has an offer for a qualified rescue group. OHS will take 6 non-pit bull dogs from another rescue in exchange for Happy. The dogs must pass OHS behavior assessment test.
Happy is a wonderful boy, great with people, just dog selective. Please contact Angela@BAPBR.org
