22-year-old Daniel Suarez is a busy driver this season – he’s competing full-time in the K&N Pro Series East and the NASCAR Mexico Toyota Series – but next year will be bigger and better as Suarez joins Joe Gibbs Racing full-time in the Nationwide Series, while also racing part-time in the Camping World Truck Series. Learn more about Daniel Suarez here.

Daniel Alejandro Suarez Garza was born January 7th, 1992 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He began his racing career in karting at age 10, winning the class championship in 2007.

Suarez moved to Mini-Stocks in 2008, a precursor to racing in the NASCAR Mexico Toyota Series, and became the youngest winner in the series’ history. He moved up to the Mexico Series in 2010, winning the Rookie of the Year Award while running only a partial season. In 2011, he finished ninth in the Mexico Series, winning three poles that season. Suarez also competed in seven K&N Pro Series East races.

In 2012, Suarez again competed in both series, finishing third in the Mexico Series with two wins and 16th in K&N East competition. In 2013, as a member of the NASCAR Drive for Diversity program with Rev Racing, he competed full-time in the K&N Pro Series East, finishing third in points with one win and nine top 10 finishes; he also finished second in points in the Mexico Series with three wins.

Suarez kicked off the 2014 season with multiple wins, including the first two K&N Pro Series East races and three of the first four Mexico Series races. Suarez made his Nationwide Series debut at Richmond International Raceway in April, finishing 19th for JGR.

In 2015, Suarez’s No. 18 Toyota Camry will be sponsored by ARRIS Group, Inc. for the full Nationwide Series schedule, as well as a select number of Truck Series events.
