Looking for a fun way to spend the day with family and friends? Come out to the Hunterdon County Community Day on June 21, 2014. While you are there, take the opportunity to meet Cathy Sauer, owner of Chasing Dreams LLC. Sauer is a certified animal massage therapist also specializing in acupressure and photonic therapy.

You can find the Chasing Dreams booth near the petting zoo. Bring your dog for a free evaluation and enter a raffle for a complimentary massage. Horse owners can also stop by to enter a raffle for a complimentary massage for their horse.

“Back pain in horses often goes undetected which leads to many other problems such as stiffness in the horse’s neck and shoulder as well as hindquarters,” said Sauer. “Sometimes the untreated condition can lead to sore legs and lameness. This is where massage and acupressure come in handy to detect these problems before they become chronic.”

Sauer’s experience with horses goes back to childhood. She grew up with horses and became a horse trainer for many years working with junior riders. During the past 10 years, she bred Quarter Horses for Reining Cow, Working Cow and Cutting.

Sauer will be available for demonstrations with regard to saddle fitting and massage to benefit horse back pain.

Sauer also hosts a weekly radio show called “All About Animals.” You can tune in every Friday from 12-1 p.m. EST. It is brought to you by the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce. You can access the live show here. If you miss the live show, you can always catch up by tuning in to the archived recording. Sauer is always looking for guests and can be contacted through her website.

The Hunterdon County Community Day will take place at the County Fairgrounds, South County Park, 1207 Route 179, Ringoes, New Jersey 08530 Telephone: 908-782-7115.
