Kardashian and West fans have been impatiently anticipating the unveiling of the couple’s baby North West.
West sat down with Kris Jenner today August 23 on her new daytime talk show “Kris” in which the rapper opened up seemed surprisingly soft and gentle. West also showed the world a photo of the 2-month-old daughter that he shares with reality star Kim Kardashian.
It has become the norm for celebrities to cash in on the first photos of their babies but West shared his thoughts on why he chose to unveil the first photo of his daughter on grandma Jenner’s show as oppose to selling the photos to the highest bidder.
"It's all this talk about baby pictures and can you get paid for the baby picture or do you want to put it on a magazine," West said. "And for me and your daughter we have not attempted to get paid for anything, we have not attempted to put it on a magazine. You just stop all of the noise and I thought it would be really cool on her grandmother's season finale to bring a picture of North."
Kanye opened up about his dismay with the added attention from the paparazzi and how he feels about the attention being directly related to his relationship with Kim.
I'm being with this person because, you know, I love this person. She's worth it to me, that his girlfriend is "my joy. She brought my new joy into the world. There's no paparazzi and there's no blog comment that's going to take that joy from me."
Many Kanye West fans were wondering how the private rapper was adjusting to fatherhood and his relationship with Kim. West opened up and shared just how deep his love is for his new family.
"After I lost my mother, there were times I felt I would put my life at risk," he said. "I felt like sometimes I didn't have something to live for. Now I have two really special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for."
