Meet a load of local authors at Seattle7Writers Cookout at Queen Anne Books

Seattle authors who give their time and energy to the literacy non-profit Seattle7Writers are coming together for a casual cookout (or as Garth Stein wrote on his facebook page, "a good old-fashioned weenie roast") at Queen Anne Books on Thursday August 11 from 5:30- 7:00.

The event is an opportunity for readers to meet some of their favorite authors, and a chance for Seattle7Writers to collect book donations for their community pocket libraries and raise funds for WITS, Powerful Schools, and Path With Art.

Fans can also purchase Seattle7Writers' "Read Local" t-shirts at the event-- a wardrobe must-have for Seattle bibliophiles!
