The body is composed of energy fields
Medical intuitives are individuals who can energetically perceive information about the internal functioning of the human body. To do this, they intuitively scan the body, evaluating it for imbalances or dysfunctions that need to be addressed to bring the body back into balance and thus to a healthy state.
Basis of medical intuition
According to medical intuitives, humans are more than a physical body. Each individual is composed of a myriad of interconnecting electromagnetic energy fields, and disturbances in those fields manifest as diseases. Medical intuitives have the ability to detect these disturbances.
Medical intuitive evaluation
During a medical intuitive evaluation, the practitioner does not need to touch the client: according to the International Association of Medical Intuitives, the practitioner “can appraise your current state of health and well-being….[and] can also validate unresolved thoughts and emotions that may be impacting you and your current state of health. This information can be gathered remotely.”
Although medical intuitives say they can see or detect specific information about the function of both the physical and energetic body—including issues that may not be detected by standard medical tests—an evaluation by a medical intuitive should not be a replacement for medical treatment.
In fact, the information you get from a medical intuitive evaluation may answer questions about your health that conventional medicine techniques have failed to find or chosen to ignore. Many people, after seeing a medical intuitive, have gone back to their conventional doctor and said “I think you should check such and such” and the root of their problem is then found. In fact, some conventional physicians routinely work with medical intuitives.
Who are medical intuitives?
Some medical intuitives are medical doctors; others work in different areas of healing, including psychologists, psychotherapists, nurses, and energy work of bodywork professionals (e.g., reiki practitioners, homeopaths). Perhaps the most well-known medical intuitive was Edgar Cayce.
Dr. Nancy Clark, a psychotherapist, medical intuitive, certified hypnotherapist and neurolinguistic programmer, and international speaker, has been a medical intuitive for about 15 years. In addition to seeing patients privately, she teaches a seminar series on medical intuition around the world.
Dr. Clark will be teaching a 100-hour seminar in Tucson on June 12-14 for level I and June 27-28 for level II, during which individuals can become a certified medical intuitive. According to the literature on the seminar, participants will develop skills to
• see auras and energy
• work with the subtle bodies
• develop suprasensory abilities
• reduce pain and stress
The seminar will be held at La Paloma resort in Tucson. For more information and registration, visit Dr. Clark’s website.
