The following dogs are at Greenville County Animal Care Services and need immediate rescue, an email stated October 18. This is a situation where only a reputable rescue can get the dog out of the shelter, due to medical problems.
Animal ID 21263672 “Glenda” she is about 8-10 wks old, she is a female, Chi mix brought into us as a stray.Per the vet “Vulva and rectum are too close together, will require surgery to remove skin ventral to vulva in order to force into the correct anatomical arrangement” This cannot be done at the shelter, she will need to be seen elsewhere! Pull fee $29 (shots microchip)
Animal ID 21271985 “Katie” Spaniel mix, female, about a year old, Positive for demodex, severe demodex, heartworm negative. Brought into the shelter as a stray. Her pull fee is $29 (shots microchip) we will not spay a dog with severe demodex per the vet.
Animal ID21281682 “Botox” Male- Chow/sharpei mix male, about 2 yrs old. Heartworm test pending, Skin scrape pending, Has embedded collar will be removed today. Brought in as a stray. Pull fee $69 (shots, chain removal, neuter, micro chip, hw test)
