BOXING - Mexican boxer Antonio "Tijuana Tornado" Margarito (38-6) was granted a boxing license in the state of Texas on Thursday, August 26, 2010. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation approved Margarito's application a week after the California State Athletic Commission voted 5-1 to revoke Margarito's license after illegal substance was found in the boxer's gloves prior to a January 2009 loss to Shane Mosley (46-6).

Margarito will now face pound-for-pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao (51-3-2) on November 13 at billionaire Jerry Jones' $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The fight could break the largest indoor crowd in boxing history, currently at 63,315 fans that attended Muhammad Ali vs Leon Spinks in 1978 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.
Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey (35-4) drew over 50,000 at Cowboys Stadium on March 13 earlier this year. The Filipino icon is a -525 betting favorite. However, Margarito owns the record of having thrown the most number of punches in a 12 round bout in the history of boxing: 1,675. The Mexican hurled this many blows, 1,675 punches estimated by CompuBox, in a unanimous decision victory against Joshua Clottey in 2006.

Margarito is a dangerous and formidable fighter. He was even avoided by coward Mayweather Jr. The fight will be an explosive one compared to Pac vs Floyd. It just happen that the Pacman is the best ever boxer in the world.. This a good tune up againts Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez or even Hopkins.

This will be a hell of a fight. Yes, Margarito is the most dangerous fighter that Manny Pacquiao will encounter. That's what makes the fight exciting to the fans because action will be the name of the game. This will be another challenge of a flyweight/bantamweight frame with added weight, so people will have fun. Where on earth have anyone hear of someone adding 45 or so pounds (106 - 150 pounds), just challenge bigger/stronger fighters? But we all know Manny. BTW, all negative comments aimed at Bob Arum is unwarranted. Let's not forget that he is the one who made Many a multi-millionaire. He is the person who made Filipino boxers visibe to the world now.

If you have the choice of watching between floyd crawling under Don Kings underwear and Pacman fighting a bigger , taller, non stop punching machine like Margo, which will you choose.
As the saying goes, "watch out for what you have wished for" Margo is lucky enough to be in Arum promotion to begin with, otherwise he'll never had a chance to fight with Manny and perhaps Texas denied him the license as well. Since we have established this as a fact, and obviously him and his trainer have recognized the lucky draw and the big opportunity handed to them, it probably made this team stronger and more focus in every aspects of beating the only mexicutioner alive. Not only that he's very determined and highly motivated to win this fight, but he's also inspired by Rocky Balboa in Rocky movies going into the ring as underdog and not given a chance to win. Having all these positive spirits in his mind and coupled with physical advantages, he's for sure a dangerous opponent for the champ. Just watch out for what Arum and team Pacquiao wished for!

Margo serve he's time already for the crime he comitted. Everybody needs a second chance. This fight is a lot better than pbf fight. Unlike floyd margo won't run all night. Who doesn't like to see a toe to toe fight for 12 rounds? If they ever go that far. Pac is fighting a big, tall, good chin and toe to toe fighter. Can't be better than that.
