November saw the launch of the Nintendo DSi LL (known in North America as the Nintendo DSi XL) in Japan. The PSP go also came out at right at the start of the month in the same region. So how did both new handheld models fare for the month? Here are the hardware sales for the month of November (11/02 – 11/29) in Japan according to the results compiled from weekly Media Create reports:

Even if you include the launch day sales of the PSP go on November 1st (29,109 units), The Nintendo DSi LL still handily beats it. In fact, the Nintendo DS model almost became the best-selling hardware for the entire month despite not launching until two weeks into November.
