Beauty, goes the saying, is only skin deep, but ugly goes clear to the bone.
In the case of The Ugly Rooster Cafe, it also goes to a second Saratoga County location.
The owners of the Mechanicville breakfast and lunch restaurant today announced on their Facebook page that they will be opening an additional location in Clifton Park May.
"We are pleased to announced that we have secured a second location in Clifton Park," said the posting. "The new building is located at 1717 Rt. 9, on the corner of Old Route 146 and Rt. 9 (currently Synder's Restaurant)."
Despite that spelling, the location currently is home to Snyder's, not Synder's.
