The 39 year old who won the Boston Marathon found a cross-training devise to help strengthen his body. Meb used his ElliptiGo multiple times a week to replace some of the running sessions needed to be a elite marathon runner. By doing this he took some of the pounding off his body and built some stronger muscles. Cross-training for elite runners is tough because not many things besides running can work you at the cardiorespiratory level needed. Meb found this tool at what should be the twilight of his career. At the time of his victory he was 38 years old days away from 39 and he hit his P.R. to win the Boston Marathon. Twilight nothing, sometimes older is wiser. Now most people are not looking to win the Boston Marathon, but everybody should be looking towards their personal record (P.R.). If you are in the Chicago area and want to test ride one of these great machines please stop in to a Fitness Experts store to try one. If you are out of Illinois find a place to test ride at the ElliptiGo web site.
