Meatwad, Master Shake and Frylock on stage, oh my!

Well…sort of. The makers of the hit adult swim series, Aqua Teen Hunger Force will not be defying the laws of physics by bringing the animated character to the Pantages stage, the show’s creators, Dave Willis and Dana Snyder, will be bringing the Twin Cities a multi-media performance fused with TV clips, music from their latest album, ATHF character impressions and audience participation games.

I’m excited to see the Hennepin Theatre Trust branching out to include even more edgy shows this year. Why, just last month they booked Cheech and Chong on their tour to get Marijuana legalized, now a little over a month later, they have booked another cannabis-lover’s staple. Way to expand your horizons HTT! Not to say, that HTT doesn’t bring good shows, but I’m just glad to see that they are starting to push the envelope a little more...beyond sure money makers like Avenue Q. Needless to say, I hope this show does well.

Below are a few clips to get you geared up for the show on April 29! Tickets are currently on sale online and at the State Theater Box office for $26.50 (additional fees may apply, of course).
