My wife and I usually don't know what we are going to cook for dinner before that evening. That cause stress, hassle, and in most cases, spending too much money. If only we had something to tell us what to cook, and how to do it.

Then I stumbled upon eMeals.com one evening and was intrigued with what it offered. Meal Planning Made Simple. And that's what it does. Each week you will be given a weekly meal plan. This plan includes the meal as well as step by step instructions. A smartphone app is offered with all of the information needed to get you set up for the week.

But the part that I have found most helpful is the shopping list. The shopping list is broken down in categories such as Meats, Produce, etc... and lets you do all your shopping for the week in just one trip. The smartphone app let's you mark off the items on your shopping list as you pick them up. There are even plans that let you shop at specific stores and gives you the estimated cost of what your weekly groceries will be! There are several different plans including but not limited to Classic, Simple Gourmet, and Slow Cooker to Clean Eating, Paleo, and Gluten Free.

If you decide you aren't happy with the plan you've selected, you can switch to a different one at no additional cost. For a small additional charge you can also add Breakfast, Lunch, and/or Dessert plans as well. I selected the Paleo plan because I've been on a Paleo kick for a while now but felt like I was running out of options of what to cook.

This plan has revitalized my efforts at getting healthy and I'm looking forward to continuing down this path. The meals have been different than what I've been used to making and I have enjoyed what I've done so far. So far with the right diet and exercise, I've lost 45 lbs and still have a long way to go!

Below are some the the meals that I've made in the first week:

Grilled Balsamic Sirloin Steak w/ Grilled Asparagus and Red Onions

Italian-Seasoned Turkey Zucchini Boats w/ Tomato-Peach Salad

Big Easy Sloppy Joes w/ Cajun Zucchini Fries

Grilled Spice-Rubbed Chicken Thighs w/ Watermelon-Fennel Salad

Apple-and Mushroom- Smothered Pork Chops w/ Cucumber, Basil and Arugula Salad

Slow Cooker Pork w/ Five Spice Blend and Napa Cabbage-Carrot Salad

Pecan Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps w/ Pineapple, Peach and Mango Salad

This first week has been a huge success. I'm looking forward to the new meal plans that come out! I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is constantly wondering what they will be eating for dinner. It has taken the stress and hassle out of planning dinner. Give eMeals a try today!
