On January 7, NBC launched the new drama series "Deception" starring Meagan Good as Joanna Locasto, the detective on the inside and is looking into the death of her childhood friend the deceased heiress, Vivian Bowers. With Laz Alonso playing her partner Will Moreno. The cast also stars Victor Garber, as the father and CEO of a pharmaceutical company.
In the 'Pilot" of the series, we find that the Bowers' clan is full of secrets. The father is making a cure for cancer, but Vivian it might have harmful side effects. Joanna had a relationship with one of the brothers, Julian. Edward might have killed a women before, and the truth of one character Mia Bowers, was revealed, she believes that she is the sister of Vivian, but in actuality she is her daughter, and was raised by her father and his second wife. And Vivian was pregnant when she was killed.
