The Mount Desert Island (MDI) Trojans girls basketball team held off a pesky Winslow Black Raiders team Saturday morning to advance to the class B semifinals.
Molly Carroll scored 12 points to lead the Trojans.
Chandler Guerrette scored 17 points to lead the Presque Isle Wildcats to a 75-26 victor over the Ellsworth Eagles on Saturday afternoon.
Karlee Bernier scored 12 points on 4 three-pointers for the Wildcats.
MDI and Presque Isle will meet in a semifinal game on Wednesday, February 20th at 3:35 p.m.
The Trojans and Wildcats will also meet in a class B boys semifinal game.
The Wildcats boys outscored Waterville 17-6 in the third quarter and held off the Panthers for a 47-45 quarterfinal victory on Saturday morning.
The MDI boys defeated Winslow 48-42 on Friday evening.
