What type of beverage industry consulting do I do?
I was asked by McKinsey, who reached out to me through Gerson Lehrman, and who employs a zillion MBA’s, what would I benchmark as part of my company, Kenneth M. Kansky & Associates? I thought it was a bit odd that they would be asking me? I told them I have my favorites and if they wanted to pay me my 100 dollars per hour phone rate, I would discuss it with them. Since I started a beverage supply chain related networking group on Linkedin.com and professional beverage blog on examiner.com to foster solid networking relationships, the answer is as simple as a white hot light of truth.
With a fresh set of eyes I look at what areas of streamlined supply chain functioning, within your company, that mimic nature’s ecosystems. I also ponder what you can you do to strengthen the physical and financial economy of strategic business relationships?
The real simple answer: I like the Japanese methodology of Keiretsu, value boosting synergistic creative ideas, and finding a way to benchmark the vertical and horizontal attitude, seasonality, trend, and bias. I consider these the advanced basics of economy’s supply and demand.
