McKinney’s Heard Museum presents its holiday trail of lights

See also

Bring your family to where nature meets the holidays at the Heard Museum’s “Holiday Trail of Lights”! The McKinney museum that first opened October 1st, 1967 has intertwined its half mile nature trail, which is well known for its mechanical dinosaur displays, with the beautiful colors and music of the holiday time. According to the website for the Heard Museum, “the dinosaur displays will not be powered up as they are not the main focus and the lights will not overpower the nature sanctuary.”

Some of the lighted displays will be synchronized with holiday music, live music will be held in the museums amphitheater, and there will be live carolers walking the trails through the guests bringing even more holiday cheer. Pictures with Mother Nature and Father Christmas will be available on site through the members of Clix Photography, some warm beverages and snacks will also be available for the guest.
