McDonald’s wings are flying to U.S. McDonald’s restaurants this Sept. as part of the chain’s new menu, and fast food fans are excited to sink their teeth into these “Mighty Wings.” Detroit News reported this Monday, Aug. 26, that the bone-in style chicken wings will be introduced as early as Sept. 9, and be in full sale across the nation by Sept. 24.
Having McDonald’s wings is just one new addition to the growing McDonald’s menu, as the fast food restaurant chain is said to be going through a big overhaul on its U.S. menu to introduce some new food items. These Mighty Wings will begin rollout this Sept. and last until the end of Nov. Some other preceding options that are fairly recent on the McD’s menu include egg-white only breakfast sandwiches and Chicken McWraps.
“They’re being more innovative, and they’re being more aggressive with the changes on their menu,” said a NY analyst in an interview this week. “This is good news because it’s in conjunction with the football season.”
These mighty McDonald’s wings will be flying in just in time as football season arrives this fall, and will come with different sauce flavors for all the chicken wings fans out there. The wings are to be flavored with both chili pepper and cayenne to offer a spicy kick to their taste. Some dipping sauces include tangy barbecue, honey mustard, and ranch. The Mighty Wings will also be sold in varying sizes for your hunger level that day, ranging from 3, 5, and big 10-piece meal packs, starting at a price of $2.99.
