McDonald's employee site says stay away from fast food

See also

A McDonald's employee website advises workers to stay away from fast food -- which is quite hypocritical. The site is set up for employees of the fast food chain so you can imagine how surprised some workers were when they logged in and saw a fast food warning.

The warning came by way of advice that suggested people eat a sub instead of a burger and fries. Fast food is high in calories, fat, sugar, and salt and the site said that these things should be avoided. The site also suggested that if one must consume french fries, they only eat a few. Has McDonald's tasted its own fries?!

Evidently, maintaining one's health means staying away from fast food -- so McDonald's employees shouldn't really practice what they preach: It's okay to work at McDonald's, but if you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle, one shouldn't eat at McDonald's. Bizarre that the company would put out such a warning.
