McDonald's cash ended up in what was supposed to be one honest couple's delicious bag of McDonald's fast food. When Greg Terry went to the local McDonald's in Hermitage, Tenn., he ordered breakfast for himself and his wife, Stacye Terry.
However, when the man arrived home with his purchase, he and his wife discovered something very special in the bag, and it was not extra packets of ketchup. Instead, the couple discovered thousands of dollars worth of McDonald's cash that was bound for the bank and ended up in their breakfast bag, according to a Yahoo report dated Dec. 5, 2013..
The McDonald's cash was neatly wrapped up in clear plastic bags and accompanied by a bank deposit slip when it was accidentally passed out of the drive-through window and into the customer's hands.
The Terry family didn't even hesitate when they saw the McDonald's cash and the deposit ticket. They immediately hopped back into their vehicle and brought the cash back to the fast food restaurant so that it could be deposited.
The owner and operator of that particular McDonald's restaurant is Philip Gray, and he is exceedingly grateful to the couple whose honest actions saved him thousands of dollars in hard earned money for his franchise. However, it has been reported that neither McDonald's nor the franchisee offered a reward to be honest couple.
