McDonald Agrees to terms on Extension with the Islanders

The New York Islanders announced on Friday that forward Colin McDonald has agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension, running through the 2014-15 season.

McDonald, 28, has appeared in 24 games this season with the Islanders, recording 10 points (four goals, six assists) and 25 penalty minutes. The Wethersfield, CT, native also appeared in 35 American Hockey League games this season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
