McCready shot her dog before taking her own life over the weekend. On Feb. 18, FOX News reported that the country singer did indeed shoot her pet before shooting herself on the front porch of her home in Ark. The dog reportedly belonged to her late boyfriend, David Wilson.
"It appears McCready killed her late boyfriend David Wilson's dog before she turned the gun on herself Sunday. The dog and McCready were found dead next to one another," said Cleburne County Sheriff Marty Moss on Monday. Previously, sources told the media that Mindy shot the dog and that neighbors reportedly heard two gun shots. This information has now been confirmed.
McCready shot the dog for unknown reasons. As previously reported, Mindy could have had plenty of reasons to take the dog's life before taking her own, but none of them would be "acceptable" if they were true. Her choice could have been purely psychological or it could have been irrelevant -- but she did it any way.
Many wonder what Mindy would have done if her children (sons Zayne and Zander) had been at home with her. Would she still have committed suicide? Would her boys have had the same fate as Wilson's dog? The thought is simply sickening.
