An MC Hammer arrest is receiving plenty of attention online, and one of the folks giving the incident his attention is none other than the rapper himself. Hammer took to Twitter on Sat., Feb. 23, 2013 to share his side of the story, according to CNN.
MC Hammer's arrest went down in northern California where he was taken into custody after allegedly obstructing an officer at a mall in Dublin. He reportedly became uncooperative after being stopped in an unregistered vehicle that belonged to someone else.
The rapper sent out a succession of tweets wherein he insulted the police officer who apprehended him, mocked his appearance, criticized his weight and generally belittled him. He wrote, "chubby elvis looking dude was tapping on my car window, I rolled down the window and he said 'Are you on parole or probation?'"
"While I was handing him my ID he reached in my car and tried to pull me out the car but forgot he was on a steady donut diet."
Hammer continued, "It was comical to me until he pulled out his guns, blew his whistle and yelled for help (MallCop) !!! But make no mistake he's dangerous .."
"only thing more dangerous than a scared man with a gun, is a scared man with an agenda, a gun and a badge. I was citied for obstruction smh"
"You have to know me to understand I was laughing when he was grunting and pulling on me .. I had just left the weight room .."
"I will now answer his question, contrary to his personal beliefs, all people of color are not on parole or probation fat boy!!!"
Charges have not yet been filed in connection with the MC Hammer arrest. Authorities will have until the rapper's March court date to decide whether to file charges.
