Floyd Mayweather is busy dealing with reporter questions as he promotes his next boxing match. He hit the road this week to promote his September fight, and he did not appreciate some of the questions asked of him by the press. Reporters asked him about everything from his relationship to Justin Bieber and his chances against UFC fighter Ronda Rousey during interviews. The Christian Post shared his reaction to the questions about Justin Bieber on July 20.

Floyd Mayweather is known as the best boxer in the world. At the age of 37, he has been in the business a long time, and he has many friends. However, one reporter was curious about his friendship with Justin Bieber. The 20-year-old pop star is dealing with a lot of drama in his life in recent months, and the reporter wondered what Floyd and Justin might have in common. Justin is a fan of the boxer, and he attended several of the boxer's fights over the last couple of years.

Justin even helped the boxer out after the man's children were involved in a car accident. Mayweather was on the red carpet at the time, and Bieber was near the scene of the accident. He checked on the man's kids, played some unreleased music for them, and he returned them to their dad. When the reporter asked Mayweather about his friendship with Bieber, the boxer accused her of racial profiling. She pushed the matter a bit by mentioning Bieber's music, and the boxer again avoided the question.

Mayweather also had reporters ask him about Ronda Rousey. The UFC women's fighter said in a recent interview that she could beat Mayweather in a fight. When reporters asked Mayweather about the claim, he said he did not know who 'he' was. Rousey is definitely a female. Dana White, UFC president, responded to Mayweather's comment. He said the following, according to The Washington Post:

"What’s Floyd going to say? That’s a lose-lose situation for Floyd. For him to even acknowledge that he knows who Ronda is, and that she could possibly beat him in a fight, ya know, that’s what I’d expect him to say."

Floyd Mayweather's next fight is on Sept. 13. It is a rematch of a bout that the boxer had back in May. Floyd will take on Marcos Maidana. Mayweather compared Maidana to an MMA fighter, so it is clear he is familiar with UFC and MMA fighting. He accused the boxer of dirty fighting during a pre-match interview on Monday. Mayweather said the following about his preparation for the new fight:

"He wants to hold with one hand, he want to elbow. My eye didn’t get a deep gash from a punch. I got a deep gash from a head butt. I mean low blows all night, 20 low blows. I mean, we can go on and on. I’m going to do a lot more physical training for this fight because is it safe to say I’m not fighting a boxer. I’m facing an MMA fighter."

Mayweather is ready to take on Maidana again, but the fight might face problems. Mayweather took issue with the gloves Maidana wanted to wear during their last bout, and a deal had to be worked out to get Maidana in the ring. This issue was not resolved before the fighters signed up to fight again. This might bring the gloves issues back out before the next match. Mayweather's focus is clearly in the ring. He does not seem to care what the press thinks of his friendships outside the ring.
