Mayoral Candidates

On monday night the mayoral candidates made speeches at the Auraria campus and focused their efforts and messages towards the Latino and African American communities.

(For a list of the candidates visit http://www.denverpost.com/politics/ci_17478289 )

They spoke about the various ideas towards public safety and holding police accountable for their actions- no matter the circumstance.

It is important that we as the Latino community and every person, really educate ourselves on what each candidate stands for. Each candidate typically has a website available (you can find them on the above link) for information on their platforms and ideas for the community.

Make sure to watch out for your ballot which will be mailed out tomorrow April 14th.

There will be a Mayoral election debate held on April 19th from 6:45 to 9:00 pm. If you can not attend the event you can also watch live on tv or on the web.
