Group info

The USA has done surprisingly well in this edition of the World Cup, defeating Ghana 2-1 and drawing FIFA-ranked No. 4 Portugal 2-2. The USA is now tied atop Group G with Germany at four points each, but Germany holds the tiebreaker based on goal differential. With a win, draw or possibly even loss versus Germany, the USA could advance to the Round of 16, where the number of title contenders is cut in half, dependent on Group results.

If the USA can beat Germany, they'll win the group title, but if they draw they'll still advance into the Top 16. If they lose, their future depends on the outcome of Ghana’s match with Portugal. If Ghana and Portugal draw, the USA advances. If there is a winner in that game, however, then goal differential and goals scored will determine the top two Group G winners.

The Revolution street team, the Battalion, will be at the Viewing Party with give-a-ways and activities for fans. Slyde, their Mascot, and the Rev Girls will also be present.
