Lathrop Mayor, Kristy Sayles had her day care license suspended under the cloud of abuse accusations toward her husband, Thomas Sayles.
Following the arrest of her estranged spouse, the Department of Social Service revoked the license, noting this was not the first time abuse had been alleged.
With 2008 abuse accusations against Thomas and Kristy found “failing to protect”, the Department felt the child care business ran from her private residence for the past 10 years, should not maintain licensure.
This incident of abuse was reported by Kristy, when she noticed that one of her six children had bruising on his face. The 8-year-old was in the care of Thomas, his step-father on Monday night, even though a temporary restraining order was put into place in March of this year.
The Mayor is in process of divorcing, Thomas who was booked into the San Joaquin County jail amd pled not guilty on the charge of corporal injury to a child. Bail was set at $50,000.
Kristy Sayles is in her second term of office and is running for re-election.

im willing to bet that the child abuse was from sayles and not her husband, why not ask her tow older children what goes on?
