Mayfair Games, following its successful co-sponsorship of Gen Con Indy 2011, has committed to be an official co-sponsor of Gen Con Indy from 2012 through 2014. Mayfair Games, along with Gen Con LLC, will continue to grow The Best Four Days In Gaming! to an ever-increasing scope.
“The Mayfair Games and Gen Con teams have shown that we can build fun together. This is a relationship with good synergy. It is exciting to make huge plans and succeed. Mayfair provided over nine thousand demos of games to attendees. We had huge participation in our ribbon program. Really, we just couldn’t be happier with Gen Con,” said Larry Roznai, President, Mayfair Games. “Mayfair Games loves to provide fun for families who love games. Our Training Grounds sponsorship and co-sponsorship ensure that we can deliver four full days of fun that will create lifelong memories.”
For at least the next three years, attendees will be able to walk along Mayfair Blvd, Catan Strasse and Funfair St. to see and demo the latest products in the Mayfair Games product lines. Mayfair will continue The Great Mayfair Ribbon Quest: By playing in tournaments, events and demos conducted by Mayfair, attendees will have the opportunity to earn ribbons that will allow them to become Knights and Defenders of Catan (along with the fabulous prizes that go with their rank).
“We feel grateful that the Mayfair Games team has worked so hard to partner together with Gen Con LLC to create the best Gen Con Indy we have ever had this year,” said Adrian Swartout, CEO of Gen Con. “Mayfair’s commitment continues to demonstrate their vision and industry leadership. The ‘Gen Con VIG Quest’ gives us a chance to have fun together year-round as well."
The Gen Con VIG Quest is ongoing until March of 2012, and will award two VIG badges to Gen Con Indy 2012, as well as travel for one lucky participant. For more details, visit http://www.mayfairgames-contest.com or http://www.facebook.com/genconindy.
