“Up All Night” star Maya Rudolph is apparently going to be up all night for a while. The actress is pregnant and expecting her fourth child with director Paul Thomas, according to a Feb. 16 article in The Hollywood Reporter (THR).
Sources told THR that the star has already informed NBC of her pregnancy and that the show’s writers initially planned to incorporate the star’s pregnancy into a revised version of the series. However, now that the star of the show Christina Applegate has announced that she is leaving the show and the series could potentially be cancelled, a rewrite could be moot.
According to THR, the show’s writing staff is seeking new jobs. Further, since a “planned one-episode reboot of the show has stalled, co-star Will Arnett is being seriously courted by CBS to star in a Greg Garcia-written comedy, among others.”
The “Bridesmaids” movie actress has three other children, Pearl, 7, Lucille, 3, and Jack, 19 months.
