Elizabeth Ann Smart's beautiful wedding picture is on the cover of the March 5, 2012 issue of People magazine.
When Smart was 14-years-old, she was taken from her bedroom in Salt Lake City, Utah. Smart's kidnappers, Brian David Mitchell and Wanda Barzee, did horriffic things to her. Nine months later, Smart was found and reunited with her loving family.
Now, 24-year-old Smart is a child-abuse advocate. Last month, Smart announced her engagement to 22-year-old Scotsman Matthew Allan Gilmour. They met in Paris, France in January 2009 when they were both on a Mormon missions trip.
On Feb. 18, 2012, the happy couple got married in Oahu, Hawaii. The bride looked radiant in the photos taken by Brian Doben. Smart wore a gorgeous dress she purchased at Kleinfeld in New York. She carried a colorful bouquet of 50 Hawaiian orchids.
