In Austin, Halloween is a week filled event, and finding the right place to spend that holiday is not always an easy task. However to make it easy on you, the reader, Examiner.com has selected Maxim of the Prodigy show at Republic Live as the place to be.
The Prodigy, a euro electronic band, that was founded in 1990 in Essex, England was one of the first mainstream crossovers to make it over to the States. They found their sounds in clubs, underground dance parties, and raves as this new genre of music opened up the ears of Americans in the dot.com era of 90's. In 1997, Prodigy won an MTV Viewers Choice Award for their work. Everything was going electronic and Prodigy was one of the pioneers with their electronic and punk style mix. Maxim will be providing live entertainment as he embarks on some solo projects.
Tonight, Maxim the MC and Vocalist for the group will be headlining with support from Andrew Parsons and DJ Koss.
Come be a part of history and look back on the good times as party kids young and old take to the dance floor.
Tomorrow Maxim will play Voodoo Fest in New Orleans and then back to the UK and Abu Dhabi for more shows.
