ESPN-In a post-race rage after Sunday’s Camping World Truck Series race in Bowmanville, Ontario a woman walked up to NASCAR driver Max Papis and slapped him unprovoked. Papis didn’t know the woman but she said she was Mike Skeen’s girlfriend.
“This crazy lady comes shouting at me, and I has no idea, didn’t even understand her, she just started shouting,” four hours after the argument at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. “And all of a sudden she took a full hand and slapped me so hard. I’m not kidding. My jaw got dislocated and my left ear is still ringing.”
Papis didn’t hit her back or say a thing
“What do you do? You don’t hit a lady. I was in disbelief because she hit me so freaking hard. If her had would have been closed it would have been one bad punch. Who’s the man in this family? Because the guy didn’t even have the guts to talk.”
While fighting over second place on the track in the final round end corner, Skeen made a quick move which ended up wrecking both of the driver’s trucks. The driver’s exchanged vehement hand gestures during the cool down lap of the race.
Then one of Skeen’s crewmember reached inside Papis’s car and threatened him
“I’ve never seen this kid before and it was an amateur move.”
What happens on the track should stay on the track, and between the drivers, this is not gang bang. Sounds like Skeen and his crew have a lot to learn about anger management.
