Sanderson the creator and host of the popular program and president of Max A Pooch, Inc says, "During the past year I have met some very amazing people who are working hard to save the lives of animals and/or improve their living conditions. I realized that although the founder of that shelter died a long time ago I owed a lot to her and the advocates who support it today. It dawned on me that work animal advocates do not only benefit animals, but also humans. The world would be a worse place without them. "
