The long anticipated Maverick Music Festival starts tomorrow at 4:30p.m. and will continue all day on Saturday. It is San Antonio’s first and only indie music festival and it’s back for its second year at La Villita downtown. The music for this event ranges from hip-hop, indie rock, electronic and many more from up and coming bands as well as well known international artists.

After last year’s success it was expanded to two days, additional stages were added and an open air market is being introduced. The Bizarre Bazaar will feature a variety of vendors selling original rock art, handmade guitar straps, handmade jewelry and more. There will also be food vendors including the popular food truck Say She Ate. Tickets are still available but the VIP passes are sold out.
