Maui Dark Rum from Hawaii

From the garden isle of Maui comes a unique dark rum born on the slopes of mighty Haleakala mountain.

This medium bodied, very dark brown rum presents aromas of butter toffee, caramel, molasses and spice. Concentrated essences of cocoa, vanilla, coffee and oak deliver big, bold flavors. The finish is sweet and easy, richly satisfying but not sophisticated.

Maui Dark rum -- some would say black rum -- is a delightful but inexpensive component in drinks that call for bold tropical flavors. It can be enjoyed neat and on the rocks as well. The island flavors are well balanced between piquant, sweet and dry.

Full flavored rums like Maui Dark are excellent floaters on cocktails. They also make fine ingredients in sauces, cakes and other desserts.

This authentic Hawaiian spirit is fermented, distilled and bottled at Haleakala Ranch in Maui from local sugarcane molasses and purified Maui water.
